      We are a successful web development company looking for a Shopify Developer to join our team. We are looking for someone to specialize in planning, designing and building websites, across both desktop and mobile environments on the Shopify platform. As web developer, you will assist with a wide variety of design tasks including design, front-end and back-end development, and general support/maintenance of web projects. It’s a very dynamic role for the right candidate. Experience in web development is required. Experience with HTML, CSS, Liquid, jQuery and JavaScript is a must, and an eagerness to learn on the job trumps existing skills. You should be passionate about emerging technologies, attentive to detail, Mac OS proficient, adaptable and well-organized.

      Basic Qualifications:

      • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Liquid, jQuery, and JavaScript a must
      • Candidates should be passionate about e-commerce, digital, and development
      • Has great attention to detail
      • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
      • A positive attitude, self-motivated, and eager to learn
      • Must possess knowledge of Word & Excel
      • Basic experience with Photoshop

      Professional Skills:

      • Superior verbal, written, analytical and presentation communication skills and personal interaction skills
      • Strong team orientation with a focus on collaboration
      • High proficiency in WordPress and Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
      • Experience with Invision
      • Ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment

      Responsibilities:

      • Manage and maintain all resource allocation for multiple projects across the business
      • Track project schedules while constantly assessing risk and removing roadblocks for the production team
      • Work with the design, development and client services teams to maintain processes and improve efficiency across the team
      • Monitor and provide quality assurance on each project to ensure all tasks are delivered to the highest quality
      • Manage and maintain communication channels within the wider project team
      • Developing Shopify stores based on our designers mock-ups
      • Making changes to clients stores based on feedback
      • Doing small task work that client provides
      • Working with our designers / project managers to delegate custom coding tasks
